Our Story

LolaMae Artistry takes its name from Lola and Mae, the names of both of my grandmothers — two incredible, amazing women who embodied warmth, resilience, and unconditional love.  They were the ones who saw my flaws and my mistakes and loved me more because of them.  They were the ones who sat me down when I wanted to quit, looked me in the eye, and told me I was stronger than I felt.

I created this brand because the world is loud, fast, and often cold. We all need a place that feels like a grandmother’s house—a place where the light is always on, the air smells like safety, and you are reminded that you are enough.

These candles are my way of keeping their fire alive. It’s a tribute to the women who poured everything into me, so I could finally pour something back into the world.  When you light one, I hope you feel their arms around you. I hope you feel the permission to rest, and the courage to keep going.
