Hello, friends!
It's been a little while since I've written here. When I shared my last post in May, I had no idea just how much the next few months would bring. There have been long days, late nights, plenty of lessons learned, and more than a few moments when things didn't go quite as planned. But there has also been so much creativity, inspiration, and excitement along the way.
Today, I'm happy to finally share some of what I've been working on.
If you've visited the LolaMae Artistry website recently, you may have noticed a few changes. I've spent some time giving the site a refresh, making it easier to explore our growing collection and discover new fragrances. But the changes go beyond the website itself.
When I started LolaMae Artistry, candles were at the heart of my vision. I loved the idea that something as simple as lighting a candle could change the feeling of a room, bring back a memory, or offer a moment of comfort after a difficult day. That belief in the emotional connection we have with fragrance is still what inspires me today.
Over the past several months, I've found myself wondering how I could bring that same experience into other parts of everyday life.
That curiosity led me to experiment with new products, explore different fragrances, and discover a whole new side of the creative process. Some ideas worked beautifully. Others needed a little more patience, a few adjustments, or an entirely different approach. That's part of the journey I've come to appreciate—there's always something new to learn.
And now, I'm excited to share the results.
A Little Something New
One of the biggest changes is the introduction of personal fragrances. I've added perfume oil rollers, solid perfumes, and solid colognes to the collection, each offering a different way to enjoy fragrance.
There's something particularly lovely about wearing a scent that feels personal to you. It might make you feel confident, bring a sense of calm, or simply become a familiar part of your morning routine.
I've also introduced car diffusers, along with refill options, because I love the idea of bringing a favorite fragrance along for the ride. Even an ordinary drive to work or a quick errand can feel a little more enjoyable with a scent you love.
While I'm excited about these additions, candles aren't going anywhere. They will always be an important part of LolaMae Artistry and a reminder of where this journey began.
Welcoming Fall
Autumn has always been a wonderful source of fragrance inspiration. There's something comforting about the scents of the season—warm spices, freshly brewed coffee, sweet treats, and all those familiar aromas that make a home feel especially inviting.
I've been having so much fun creating our Fall Collection, and I'm excited that it's finally available on the website.
I wanted this collection to capture some of the simple pleasures of fall: a quiet morning with a warm drink, time spent at home on a cool evening, or the anticipation of gathering around the table with people you love.
My hope is that these fragrances become part of your own seasonal memories.
The Joy of Connecting
Another exciting experience over the past few months has been participating in local markets.
Until recently, so much of my work happened behind the scenes—researching fragrances, testing formulas, designing labels, and preparing products. Being able to step outside that space and meet people who are discovering LolaMae Artistry for the first time has been incredibly rewarding.
I've especially enjoyed watching people explore different scents and discover something unexpected. Sometimes a fragrance catches someone's attention immediately. Other times, they take their time, comparing a few favorites before finding the one that feels just right.
Those small moments have meant a great deal to me. They've reminded me that fragrance is such an individual experience and that the connection someone feels with a particular scent is often what makes it special.
I've also learned quite a bit from those conversations, and they've given me new ideas about what I might create next.
Growing, Learning, and Looking Ahead
Building LolaMae Artistry continues to be a learning experience. There are days when everything seems to come together, and others when even the simplest task takes much longer than expected.
But one of the things I enjoy most is the freedom to be curious—to try something new, make adjustments, and see where an idea might lead.
As I look ahead to the holidays and the coming year, I'm excited to keep exploring new fragrances, refining the collection, and finding thoughtful ways to make LolaMae Artistry a part of your everyday life.
